Jessica Gagnon, LCMHC
Jessica has worked within Community Mental Health for 18 years and most recently as the Director of Acute Care Services at the Greater Nashua Mental Health. She has provided services to adults and youth to include: diagnostic assessments, crisis Intervention, crisis stabilization therapy, and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT).
She concentrates in working with adults and coming of age teens who are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, domestic violence, grief/loss, trauma, relationships, substance misuse or individuals who are seeking life balance during difficult transitions or dealing with an overwhelming life changing event.
Jessica brings a person-centered and trauma informed approach to therapy. She closely listens and acknowledges where an individual wants to be in their life and helps them identify the changes needed to move towards the desired goals. She encourages individuals to explore valuable tools for self-understanding and learn of the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behavior to support the goal of healthier thinking patterns. She believes in helping individuals in identifying ruptures that may have occurred in their relationships and then supporting the development of creative ways to rebuild those attachments.
Jessica utilizes Cognitive Behavioral techniques (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral based skill coaching (DBT), Solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), and a Humanistic theory approach.
