Marcy Love is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida who has been practicing since 2014. Marcy provides a warm, empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental space for people to express their feelings and concerns in order to process them and develop solutions and management techniques. She has a strong passion and background in working with all ages of adults with chronic illnesses, life changes, and end of life. Outside of her career, Marcy enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally where she uses her amateur photography skills to serve as her souvenirs in capturing the beauty of each place. She is a lover of all types of music, plays piano, and supports the arts. She also adores animals (even the gators and sharks) and nature in general. The beach is her happiest place!

I have enjoyed my sessions with Marcy Love and felt free to tell her anything that was bothering. She gave me many helpful ideas for helping me through my problems and suggested ways to cope with what was going on in my life. When one problem was solved another one showed up in my life and she gave me insights on what to expect with my medical problem. Thankfully it was solved and did not come to pass. Then another issue showed up and I am questioning why I seem to go from one problem to another. I am taking medication for anxiety and depression and I have issues of why I have to take them. I felt bad because I need help to function normally because I have to take them and she explained some people have to take them because of medical imbalance in the brain and I should not be ashambed that I have to take them. She also suggested keeping a journal especially when I feel angry or frustrated and that has helped. I am sorry that I only have one session left with her as I feel very comfortable sharing my problems with her. She has told me she will find me another therapist to take her place so I will see how that goes. I am a little apprehensive about starting over with a new person. I will be sorry to see her go and wish her success with her next step in her life.

I’ve been seeing a therapist through my gyno’s office believe it or not and I had mentioned to her I wanted to do trauma therapy. She really got the ball rolling on that and I just saw Marcy yesterday. Both therapist are extremely nice and I really like both of them. I will also be seeing a therapist who does EMDR on Monday which I’m very excited about. I’m on a healing journey and everyone at lifestance has made it very easy to get started! Thank you!
