Mariah is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Mariah began her career as an RN working in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. The intrigue of neuroscience and the passion for connecting with patients as a bedside RN led Mariah to pursue a career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She now integrates her neuroscience background into psychiatric care, offering support through medications, diagnosis, talk therapy, and health education. Mariah also offers Spravato and ketamine treatment options as part of her comprehensive, evidence-based approach.

Mariah has experience working with clients of all backgrounds and desires to provide a culturally competent, holistic approach that encompasses the individual’s entire experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at James Madison University in 2016 and gained diverse nursing experience across the Metropolitan D.C. area over the span of six years.

She obtained her Master of Science as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from George Washington University in May of 2022. Mariah’s experience as a bedside nurse has molded her into the person she is today. She has held the hands of dying patients, delivered life-altering news, and continuously fought to provide the best care for her patients in difficult times. Nursing is a profession that provides care and compassion for the whole individual and the human experience—an influence that continues to guide her therapeutic partnerships with clients.

Mariah’s goal is to provide options and education so she and her clients can make decisions together as a team. She strives to empower clients to advocate for themselves on their mental health journey while being supported by a compassionate provider.

Mariah is an absolutely STELLAR psychiatric provider and has been incredibly helpful and supportive. I have been seeing her consistently for 8 months, and the level of care and attention she has given to my very complex mental and physical health situation has been incredibly beneficial. I have found her to be warm and caring while also precise and professional. She has been super communicative through the portal and has promptly provided accomodation papers for me to submit to my employer. I would, and in fact already have, recommended her to others and will continue seeing her. The only issues I run into have had nothing to do with Mariah and are entirely due to the Lifestance online portal, Lifestance telehealth software, and office communications, none of which are in Mariah's purview, but I gladly will deal with them if it means I continue to get this level of care from my provider!

Mariah is trustworthy, consistent, and helpful. She listens attentively and has a genuine sense of caring. I know she will respond promptly to my messages and is a knowledgeable and reliable prescriber while giving me different perspectives and modalities to help management my mental health. I feel heard. I have been through a few different providers since my psychiatrist passed away during COVID that I had since I was a child. Mariah has by far been the most professional and supportive since. She’s in touch with her patients’ needs and progressive in her approach. I am glad I found her.

I've seen Mariah in the past, and I was so sad when she moved to Colorado! She is extremely thorough, informative, and smart. Whenever I would start on a new medication, she answered all of my questions and made sure I was aware of any potential side effects to look out for. She always made sure to follow up and check in to make sure I was doing okay. She is easy to talk to and always made me feel so comfortable. I wish there were a way I could keep seeing her! Highly recommend!!!!

Mariah is very caring and helpful! We spent the first session talking through situations and past scenarios of how my mental health and mood was affected. This led to a diagnosis that I've never heard before which is so helpful to have a different angle on my wellness! I'm feeling better and Mariah helped to get me there she is wonderful!
