Lauren Wilson is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has over 7 years of experience working in mental health. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has served as a clinical instructor for the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and her master’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. She works with children and adults, ages 6-65, and specializes in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of a variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and more.
