See what our patients are saying about Joy Kubis

I’ve been seeing Joy for the past two years after 20 years with my previous psychiatrist. For 15 of those years, I stayed on the same medication dose—it worked, but my care was never truly revisited or explored in depth. With Joy, that changed completely. She approaches my care with genuine compassion and attention, taking the time to really listen and understand me. She doesn’t just settle for what’s “good enough”—she thoughtfully looks at what will truly help me feel my best. For the first time in a long time, I feel truly seen, heard, and cared for.

Joy Kubis has changed my life forever in a positive way. I had been misdiagnosed for over 40 years and she finally gave me an accurate diagnosis. Now that I am on the correct medication I feel like a different person. I highly recommend Joy Kubis if you are not getting the results you desire on your current medication. I will forever be grateful that I found her!

Lifestance makes it easy to contact your provider, husband said there are occasions where the billing gets a little mixed up but it’s fairly easily sorted out. Joy Kubis has been a very good understanding and sympathetic listener, and seems very knowledgeable about medication options and interactions regarding treatment.

I appreciate how knowledgeable Joy Kubis is in the pharmacology of the different medications, always researching for potential interactions. She hears my concerns and takes me at my word - which is increasingly uncommon in the medical field. I'm grateful to have connected with her.
