I am an immigrant and is currently suffering quite serious anxiety. At first I was hesitant to see a doctor due to my general anxiety and also cultural anxiety as well. Also my oral English is not very fluent and I fear that people would not want to talk with me. However, after meeting Mr. Dyckman, all of my fear and concerns are gone. Mr. Dyckman was so patient and caring to me as a patient. He empathized with my anxiety issues and was passionate in helping me pinpoint the source of my anxiety issues. This was an amazing first experience with a mental health doctor for me as an immigrant. What's more, after learning that I am from a low-income family. Mr. Dyckman offered me lots of resources which would reduce my medical cost. He was extremely caring and patient and willing to listen to all of my concerns. I have scheduled to meet Mr. Dyckman again for my next session.

I have been going to John for a couple of years- maybe longer now.. he is excellent and is very easy to talk to. He is a very thorough doctor, he makes sure that the patient is satisfied with treatment- but also has great insight. I trust John as my doctor and I always take his words into consideration because he is intelligent and empathetic- he actually listens vs a lot of doctors who will rush/not have much empathy or consideration. John always comes up with a plan and is willing to accommodate his patients. He gives great advice. He is also great at playing detective- to get to the root of the mental health issues directly. I highly recommend him. He is not afraid of a challenge. Always a great experience with Mr. Dyckman.

I have been seeing Jonathan Dyckman for over a year now and it has been such a positive experience. He is always engaged and actively listening to my concerns. Mr. Dyckman is incredible at his job. I'm an excellent judge of people and you can tell that he genuinely cares. I have had doctors in the past who bring you in and out of their office in 5 or 10 minutes. They never even look you in the eye. Mr. Dyckman is the exact opposite. I can't recommend him enough. I was very skeptical about doing my mental health over a video call, but it has been easy and hassle free. I was surprised how comfortable I was talking about what's been going on and the doctor listened and didn't hesitate to get me on medication. I will definitely continue to use Lifestance for my mental health care!
