About Gabriela Garshelis (She/Her)

Gabriela Garshelis, PMHNP, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across South Carolina navigate mental health challenges with a compassionate, practical, and evidence-based approach to care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management and individual therapy tailored to each person’s unique needs, helping patients build stability, improve daily functioning, and move toward meaningful personal goals. Her clinical experience includes treating ADHD, depression, and PTSD/trauma, along with a range of additional mental health concerns. Gabriela is particularly passionate about supporting young people and families facing childhood behavioral issues, school avoidance, and ADHD. She understands that emotional and behavioral concerns can affect every aspect of a child’s life, from academic performance to family relationships and self-confidence. By partnering closely with patients and caregivers, she develops individualized treatment plans that promote growth, resilience, and long-term success. Her therapeutic approach integrates medication management with evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She also works with individuals experiencing concerns such as bipolar disorder, grief, sleep disorders, life transitions, women’s mental health issues, and other behavioral health conditions. Gabriela values creating a supportive and judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Outside of her professional work, Gabriela enjoys crafts, photography, sports, wigs, and movies.
