Teresa M. Cadorette, MD is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical school at Houston, in 1987 and completed her 4 year adult psychiatry residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, in 1991. Dr. Cadorette uses a bio /psycho /social /spiritual model of care, integrating psychopharmacology, counseling, lifestyle changes and integrative approaches as appropriate, to assist individuals in achieving their goals for optimizing their physical and emotional well-being. In her spare time, Dr. Cadorette enjoys quilting, knitting and crocheting … anything with fiber and color !.

Dr. Cadarette has the most caring demeanor in a Psychiatrist that I have ever met. She points out things out to me that make total sense that I can not see clearly sometimes and that makes a world of difference to me. She is always, it seems thinking out of the box solely just for ME~ treating me ever so special, just as I am sure she does to ALL of her patients. We are all truly Blessedly to have such a wonderful Dr to help us get through our difficulties / ones that require medications that she so very carefully monitors and oversees and really “gets” if they are not working for me. Always has ideas on something else that may work; ALWAYS has excellent suggestions, and always makes me feel good at the end of our visits. I honestly don’t know how I’d manage without Dr Cadorette in my life because I DO need not only my medications supervised, but her to talk things out through routinely to, and she is the FINEST listener and then she asks the best, sometimes the hardest questions, and always seems to get to the root of whatever my current dilemma is at the time. Sometimes it’s all good, and that’s when she’s TRULY a treasure!

No matter how respected the industry, you’ll realize that there are some interesting actors, unique professional personalities, and questionable competencies-especially in this day and age. Dr. Cadorette is by far the most compassionate, thorough, relatable clinician in the adult psychiatry space that I have had the pleasure of engaging with. As an attentive, bedside health professional myself, I see how Dr. Cadorette listens empathically, highlights deep trends, identifies opportunities for foundational adjustments whilst actively engaging in smoothing the intensities amid acute symptomatic states. This woman has saved my life and I won’t know how to repay her for the immense gratitude I feel towards my personal life outlook in the months and years ahead.

Dr. Cadorette is the best Dr I have ever met in my entire lifetime. She is a Dr not only full of complete knowledge and expertise in her field, and is always willing to go outside the box and find what works for YOU as an individual, and is constantly referring to her own computer for even more knowledge. Her compassion is also one of her best qualities, and the optimism she imparts is always a big help as well. She’s been my lifeline for over a decade now.
