About Dr. Dhawan (She/Her)
Helping adults across New York navigate complex mental health challenges, Dr. Dhawan provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care through LifeStance Health. She offers medication management for young adults and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also treating a broad range of additional mental health conditions. Dr. Dhawan believes that effective treatment begins with understanding the whole person and developing an individualized plan that supports both emotional wellness and long-term stability. By providing attentive follow-up care, medication management, and ongoing support, she helps create continuity of care that promotes recovery, confidence, and a stronger sense of well-being. Dr. Dhawan takes a thoughtful and collaborative approach to treatment, recognizing that every patient’s experience is unique. She has experience treating conditions such as bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, while offering support for additional psychiatric needs. She also works with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military veterans, and people on the autism spectrum, tailoring care to each person’s circumstances, strengths, and goals. As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Dhawan brings a holistic perspective to mental health treatment, considering the connection between emotional, physical, and social well-being. She earned her education from the New York Institute of Technology and the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Since beginning practice in 2022, she has remained committed to delivering patient-centered psychiatric care grounded in clinical excellence and empathy. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Dhawan enjoys drinking lattes, discovering new music, practicing yoga and Pilates, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
