I am a Portland Native. I attended Wellesley College for my undergraduate education and subsequently attended medical school at Tel Aviv University, NY State American Program. I completed my adult residency as well as a fellowship in medical ethics at University of Chicago. Following residency and fellowship I returned to Oregon. I worked for Tuality Center for Geriatric Psychiatry where I served as their medical director. I later worked with Cedar Hills during which time I worked both in inpatient and as the medical director of their partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program.

Dr. Rockwood is my 11th psychiatrist in the last 14 years, and she is easily one of my top 3 favorites. The other two psychiatrists I liked ended up retiring or moving out of my network, which was an absolute nightmare because while you'd probably assume that in a field like this, being knowledgeable, compassionate, and a good listener would be required traits, the sad truth is that no, they really aren't. Thankfully, Dr. Rockwood has all of those skills in spades, so until she moves away or retired I don't plan on looking for a 12th.

I’ve used Lifestance for ADHD diagnosis, med management and weekly therapy. I’m about to start an adhd course in mindfulness. All 3 practitioners I’ve seen have been incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable. I could not give them a higher recommendation which is so refreshing in the field of mental health! Catherine Rockwood is so sweet and has been able to help Me with all of my needs!

Catherine is the most caring and personable counselor. She’s not overwhelming and not off putting. She gives you just the right amount of attention without making you feel uncomfortable. She does not make you feel like you are intruding on her time either. She wants to hear what you have to say and is genuinely interested in helping you navigate your emotions!❤️

Catherine Rockwood is an undeniably amazing psychiatrist. Experienced, intelligent, understanding and empathetic. She’s very easy to talk with, which is a pretty big deal considering the subject of conversation (me and my troubles) is often uncomfortable. I would recommend Catherine to anyone. She’s a big blessing in my life

My family therapist was really incredible. I have never felt so seen! I believe my mom also felt seen. I can’t describe the therapy experience but i know i was able to walk away from it feeling a lot less clustered in my head and a sense of peace and clarity. I got so lucky to work with Dr.Dayton.
