Mrs. Ellen Kruse, MA, LPC
Mrs. Ellen Kruse, LPC, provides compassionate, individualized therapy to clients across Colorado, supporting children, teens, and adults in navigating life’s emotional challenges with greater clarity and resilience. Through a thoughtful and nonjudgmental approach, she helps clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and reconnect with their inner strengths. Ellen specializes in treating a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, and creates a safe, collaborative space where each person can feel seen, understood, and supported. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices, Ellen tailors treatment to meet the unique needs of every client. She works closely with adolescents and adults experiencing struggles with emotional regulation, school avoidance, ADHD, and midlife transitions, helping them cultivate tools for sustainable growth. Ellen also has experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those impacted by adoption or foster care. Ellen is particularly passionate about helping clients explore the mind-body connection and recover from somatoform disorders, sleep issues, and trauma-related distress. She understands how stress and emotional pain can show up physically, and she integrates both clinical tools and a holistic perspective to address these patterns. Her work supports clients in understanding how their bodies respond to emotional overwhelm and finding pathways to calm, balance, and self-awareness. Outside the therapy room, Ellen finds grounding in nature—skiing, hiking, swimming, and spending time with loved ones and animals. She also enjoys practicing yoga, making art, and staying connected to creativity and mindfulness, values she brings into her therapeutic work.
