Chiara Fuller, LCSW,
About Chiara Fuller (She/Her)
Chiara Fuller provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults throughout Florida. Her work is primarily grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, helping patients understand how their histories, relationships, and recurring emotional patterns shape their present lives. She also integrates CBT, DBT, behavioral strategies, and parenting interventions when helpful for improving emotional regulation, reducing symptoms, supporting behavioral change, or establishing stability.
Her clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, ADHD, grief, personality disorders, behavioral concerns, and difficulties related to major life transitions. Particular areas of passion include high-acuity presentations, personality disorders, and supporting individuals following psychiatric hospitalization. She helps patients maintain stability, understand the factors contributing to their distress, reduce the risk of relapse, and continue their psychological growth.
Chiara views symptoms not only as problems to manage but also as meaningful expressions of a person’s experiences, conflicts, and ways of coping. Through a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship, she helps patients recognize recurring patterns, strengthen their capacity to experience and express difficult emotions, and develop more flexible and fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others.
Chiara prioritizes each patient’s dignity, autonomy, and individuality. Her work aims to foster lasting improvements in self-understanding, emotional functioning, relationships, and the ability to approach life with greater freedom and flexibility.
Outside of her clinical work, Chiara enjoys walking, recreational shooting, and cake decorating. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Florida State University.
