Lauren Morrison, LPC, creates an understanding and caring environment for every person that walks in the door. She helps clients see the different paths available to them to better understand themselves and get the enjoyment out of life they deserve. Lauren supports adolescents and adults of all ages. She looks at whole body health, specifically for anxiety, depression, grief, and is especially skilled at working with: Holistic Therapy: Our physical health can greatly impact our mental health. We can be suffering from depression and feel low and fatigued. Lauren uses a custom plan to ensure you regain control of your life. Women and Pregnancy: There is a lot unsaid about pregnancy and birth. The unknowns and surprises of body changes and mood changes can put a strain on your mental health. Lauren is here to not only support you through this big change, but also to guide you with answers about pregnancy and postpartum. Phobias: Anxiety can create phobias, or irrational fears, for parts of life that are unknown. Lauren understands the intensity of the phobias and wants to ensure you start to reclaim your life. She’s familiar with treating emetophobia, agoraphobia, germaphobia, and more. Health has always been important to Lauren. Learning how psychological, behavioral, and cultural factors contribute to physical illness is the key to overall health. Lauren earned a graduate degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exercising, baking, and crocheting.
