Erica Bone helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Kentucky navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use concerns, and difficult life transitions. Erica creates a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard while also developing practical skills to improve emotional wellness, relationships, and daily functioning.

Erica is especially passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma and PTSD, manage anxiety and depression, cope with grief and loss, and work through substance use issues. She brings extensive experience supporting patients through complex emotional experiences and understands how mental health symptoms can impact every aspect of life. Her approach is collaborative and personalized, helping patients build resilience while creating meaningful, lasting change.

In her therapy practice, Erica incorporates evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is certified to teach both DBT and ACT and uses these approaches to help patients strengthen emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and reconnect with their values and goals. Erica also has experience supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, as well as patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders and developmental disabilities. In addition to her primary specialties, she offers support for concerns such as bipolar disorder, grief, insomnia, OCD, eating disorders, and women’s and men’s issues.

Outside of her clinical work, Erica is deeply involved in the Lexington community through volunteer work with the Alano Club, where she serves on the executive board and several subcommittees. She enjoys helping organize community events, volunteering, and supporting outreach efforts that promote recovery and connection. In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing karaoke, watching favorite shows like Parks and Recreation and Supernatural, and caring for her two kittens, Melody and Marigold.
