Cindy Vokey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine who has been practicing since 1999. Cindy has extensive experience with individuals experiencing grief and loss and has a solid background in mental health and trauma informed care. Cindy recognizes the courage it takes to enter therapy and honors the sacred space where you will feel safe to explore feelings related to stress and anxiety, grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, and major life transitions. She draws from multi theoretical frameworks to meet the unique needs of the clients she is honored to serve. Cindy is also a certified 200hr YTT Yoga instructor and certified Grief Movement Guide. She enjoys helping people develop mindfulness skills and work with the breath and body to facilitate growth and healing. Your journey to discovering your best self may include revisiting the past, healing wounds, or finding strengths that you didn’t know you had. It may be about finding purpose, healing relationships, discovering hope, or feeling heard. You will always find acceptance, kindness, sensitivity, and compassion in your time together with Cindy. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys hiking, attending live music festivals, travel, visiting National Parks, walking her dog on the trails, reading a good book, and practicing yoga.
