Jessica Wilson, LCSW
Specializes In:
Jessica Wilson helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Maine navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, and major life transitions with compassion, clinical expertise, and a deeply personalized approach to care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy that supports emotional healing, resilience, and long-term wellness. Jessica works collaboratively with patients to create a safe and supportive space where they can process challenges, build coping skills, and reconnect with their strengths.
Jessica is especially passionate about trauma-informed therapy, EMDR therapy, women’s issues, and helping individuals through life transitions. She understands that experiences such as postpartum changes, midlife adjustments, loss, caregiving stress, and unresolved trauma can significantly impact emotional and physical well-being. Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and mindfulness practices, she helps patients develop practical tools for managing distress, improving self-awareness, and creating meaningful change in their daily lives.
Her clinical experience includes working with individuals facing PTSD and trauma, bipolar disorder, insomnia and sleep concerns, health-related stress, and later-life transitions. Jessica also has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and military veterans. While these are areas of focus, she also provides support for additional mental health concerns and emotional challenges affecting adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Jessica has been practicing since 2001 and earned her education from University of New England and University of Southern Maine. Her approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and the belief that healing happens through connection and trust.
Outside of her clinical work, Jessica enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, meditation, and gardening. These activities help her stay balanced and connected to the mindfulness practices she often encourages in therapy.
Jessica Wilson provides virtual mental health services across Maine through LifeStance Health
