Rachel Desrosiers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine who has been practicing since 2007. She graduated from Rhode Island College. Rachel has been practicing with a focus on trauma related disorders for more than 7 years treating children, teens, and young adults. She approaches treatment from a holistic perspective and understands how the systems around us affect our wellbeing. With this in mind, Rachel believes meeting clients where they’re at is important and enjoys working together to tackle problems with patience and perseverance. Rachel has training in MATCH-ADTC, TF-CBT, and CBT and uses these approaches in treatment. Rachel offers a safe environment to be heard and supported through processing past experiences and developing a toolbox of skills in order to help with managing symptoms that clients are experiencing. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys reading, creative outlets, playing volleyball, and trying different restaurants.
