Brigit Wingert, LICSW

Brigit Wingert is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota who has been practicing since 2018. She has a Master’s of Social Work from University of Saint Thomas/Saint Catherine’s University.

Over the past decade, Brigit has completed internships working with kids developing emotional regulation and social skills in the Minneapolis public school system, ran court appointment anger management groups for adult males, and provided therapeutic support for children and families dealing with complex trauma and abuse. Since graduating with her Masters of Social Work in 2018, Brigit has been providing clinical outpatient therapy services for children and families who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, and complex trauma. Often times the youth and caregivers have been engaged in the child protection and family court systems, which is hard on a family! Brigit has had the privilege of supporting these families on their path to safe, healthy, happy lives. She looks forward to continuing to support youth and their safe adults through trust and connection.

Outside of work, Brigit has an American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd rescue pup that is the light of her life! They spend lots of time walking along the river, playing fetch, and relaxing during off days. She loves any kind of stereotypical self-care activity, including painting, puzzles, cross stitching, and meditation. She also enjoys board game nights with friends and family. Her favorite place in the world is Door County, WI and she tends to sneak off to visit many summer weekends!
