Deborah worked in a variety of settings including in-patient and in-home hospice, a college counseling center, an independent day school for dual diagnosis behaviorally challenged youth, and the medical hospital setting working with chronic illness, life transitions, end-of-life, and conflict resolution. Deborah’s recent work has been at an inpatient rehabilitation facility for individuals struggling with dual diagnoses of substance use and mental health challenges. Her work included assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and family counseling as well as group therapy and psycho-education for clients and staff.
