Through my 25 years of practice I have had the opportunity to work with clients throughout the entire spectrum of life, including supporting prenatal and new mothers to being able to help families with the passing of a loved one and end of life issues. This was done through a variety of models and in a variety of settings including private practice settings, home-based programs, and an inpatient psychiatric hospital. The many settings in which I have worked, and then diverse age population I’ve seen, has helped me to develop a unique perspective on the journey of life. I am experienced in working with issues such as grief and loss, stress management, and crisis intervention. I’ve also worked in the area of child protection and am familiar with family systems and family dynamics generally. Therapeutic Approach: During sessions I integrate a variety of techniques, such as DBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. My goal is to collaborate with clients to build a unique environment that enables them to thrive and achieve success.
