Specializing in individual therapy, she supports adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and complex trauma. Rachel’s therapeutic approach is personalized, compassionate, and deeply rooted in techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Rachel helps her clients find stability and healing in their lives. She is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as those who identify as LGBTQIA+ or are neurodivergent. With specialized training in treating PTSD and complex PTSD, she uses EMDR to help clients process and resolve deep-seated emotional wounds. Rachel integrates mindfulness practices and some Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills into her sessions, offering a well-rounded approach that meets the unique needs of her clients. She is also experienced in addressing gender identity issues, women’s mental health, and providing support for individuals on the autism spectrum. Rachel’s expertise extends to treating conditions such as bipolar disorder, psychosis, and schizophrenia. She creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where her clients can explore their experiences and build coping mechanisms that foster resilience and growth. Rachel believes in empowering her clients to take an active role in their mental health journey, and she tailors her therapeutic interventions to promote long-term emotional well-being. Outside of her clinical work, Rachel enjoys embracing her creativity and love for the arts. She finds joy in reading, writing, and blogging, as well as attending live concerts. In her free time, Rachel loves spending time on the beach or exploring the woods with her family. She also cherishes moments spent with friends, whether over lunch or on leisurely drives. Committed to serving patients across New Hampshire, Rachel offers a thoughtful and personalized approach to therapy, helping individuals lead more fulfilling lives.

See what our patients are saying about Rachel Sicari

I'm not sure how these two individuals could have had such a bad experience, but I've had a great experience! She's the only one I've seen in years that really knows how to ask pointed questions and is very thorough so as to provide the best information. She's patient and kind. Due to unexpected circumstances I won't be able to see her anymore and I doubt I'll find someone with similar qualities, but I hope I will.
