Emma Rounds helps children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families throughout New Hampshire navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a collaborative approach to care. As a Marriage and Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, she creates a supportive environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Emma provides individual therapy and family therapy for concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, and other emotional and behavioral challenges, while also offering support for a wide range of additional mental health needs. Her approach emphasizes each person’s strengths and recognizes that individuals are the experts on their own lives. Emma is especially passionate about supporting individuals and families following a recent discharge from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that the transition back into daily life can feel overwhelming and works closely with clients to strengthen coping skills, improve communication, increase stability, and build confidence during recovery. She is committed to helping clients and their support systems create sustainable plans for ongoing mental health and emotional wellness. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy, and Parenting Skills interventions, Emma tailors treatment to the unique needs of each client and family. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults across the lifespan, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and people with developmental disabilities. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, humanistic, and family-centered, with a strong appreciation for the role relationships play in emotional health. Emma has a special interest in child development and play-based therapeutic approaches that help young clients express emotions, develop self-awareness, and build resilience. She also values partnering with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships and support healthy growth at home, school, and within the community.

Outside of her clinical work, Emma enjoys caring for her growing collection of plant babies, spending time with her dog, traveling, dancing and singing for fun, being with friends and family, and watching reality television shows.
