About Barry Lewis (He/Him)
Dr. Lewis is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and master licensed alcohol and drug counselor with over 10 years experience as a psychotherapist and nearly 15 total years experience in the field of mental health. He completed a bachelor’s degree with a double major in history and psychology from Colby-Sawyer College, a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Rivier University, and a doctor of psychology degree in counseling and school psychology from Rivier University. Dr. Lewis specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, and substance use disorders. He uses an integrated approach involving cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. Dr. Lewis enjoys dogs and turtles, nature photography, history, and reading.
