Executive Director – Maine, New Hampshire & Rhode Island Ms. Sartor graduated from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT with a BA in Psychology and Anthropology in 1999. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Boston University in 2002, and holds a Certificate in Integrated Primary Care and Behavioral Health from UMass Medical School. Ms. Sartor completed internships at New Hampshire Hospital as an acute inpatient psychiatric social worker as well as Elliot Hospital providing medical and oncology social work. She is licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker by the NH Board of Mental Health Practice. Prior to joining The Counseling Center of Nashua, Ms. Sartor was the Director of Community Support Services at Greater Nashua Mental Health Center where she oversaw the program that provides treatment to adults with more severe and persistent mental illnesses. Ms. Sartor has over 19years experience in the mental health field including providing individual and group therapy, case management and care coordination services, as well as providing supervision, training, and operational oversight of new clinicians. In addition to her most recent employment, Ms. Sartor worked on the inpatient behavioral health unit at Southern NH Medical Center providing psychiatric social work, was an Assertive Community Treatment Team clinician at Nashua Foundation for Mental Health, and was a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist at Greater Nashua Mental Health Center. Currently Ms. Sartor also coordinates and facilitates the Batterer’s Intervention Program providing individual evaluations and facilitating a weekly psychoeducational group for male perpetrators of domestic violence. Ms. Sartor is the Executive Director at LifeStance Health, overseeing all locations in New Hampshire and Maine. In addition to her Executive Director Role, she maintains a small clinical practice working primarily with adults with anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, substance abuse, chronic medical conditions, and relationship challenges. She is trained and provides Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and trauma treatment intervention in the community and in workplaces. In her clinical work, she combines clinical approaches which are problem and solution focused, utilizing client strengths to help resolve life challenges. She integrates theoretical approaches, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered, and Cognitive Processing Theory. Additionally, she has extensive knowledge of domestic violence and emotionally abusive relationships, and works with both perpetrators and victims.
