Tris Dashti-Gibson is a licensed mental health counselor in New Hampshire and in Maine. First licensed in Indiana in 1999, he attended Indiana University for an MS in Counseling and worked for several years with adolescents in residential treatment recovering from childhood abuse.
During the past 20 years Tris has developed a focus helping diverse people with complex trauma, relationships, addiction/recovery, and couple issues – in addition to mental health issues like depression and anxiety. He aims to help people adjust and experience personal growth while overcoming all kinds of challenges during new phases of life.
Tris takes an integrative, relational, and growth-oriented approach to therapy. He has received in-depth training in family/couple therapy, trauma therapy (including EMDR), and other forms of person-centered, experiential therapy
In his free time Tris enjoys walks in the woods, reading, meditating, and family time, including lots of affection for 2 family cats!
