I have been working with a therapist via Lifestance Therapists for several years now. Most of my appointments are now conducted by phone, though after the lockdown was lifted I did recently attend in person at the actual office. I use the doctor there for maintenance medication each quarter. My experience with my particular therapist has been great. As it turns out, there have been occasions where there was an issue with my prescription that was very time-sensitive and every time the response to my voice message has been responded to efficiently and satisfactorily. Billing has been straightforward and timely. My therapist is no longer in my insurance network, but due to the small number of visits per year I opted to retain my provider rather than start the complicated process of medical approvals and authorizations at a new location. In past years I found this part of my care as well as billing very frustrating, but I can report the utmost professionalism and high quality service at Lifestance with my provider and the support staff member, Jesse. Logistics-wise, there is usually free street parking available for no charge within.a few dozen yards of the location, and additional strip-mall parking lots a bit further down the street if things are very busy near the actual office. You cannot park at the actual office; there are no spots there. I love my doctor, too, but this review is specifically about Lifestance and the environment there because I don’t wish to disclose which one I am seeing. The other therapists I have seen over the years have maintained a professional and friendly manner, and the other patients have been well-behaved and polite. There are noise-cancelling devices by each door to protect privacy. I’ve been a patient there for ages, so if there are any questions, I can probably take a crack at answering them.

Dr NOWAK is outstanding. He takes the time to really listen to you and you can tell he cares because on the next visit he’ll bring something up and ask about it. He doesn’t forget or sweep it under the rug. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He returns your call or takes care of your request almost immediately. I travel far to get there but I won’t change to another Dr because he is so good!. Appointments are easy to get, he’s always on time too. I would greatly recommend anyone to life stance with Dr George NOWAK.

When I did not have insurance, Lifestance would not give me a break in the cost like the previous company did and that was a huge financial burden. However, I have been with my Psychiatrist, Dr. George Nowak for over 20 years and was willing to pay the expense. It's now somewhat easier while I have insurance. I have yet to get into the patient portal as no matter how much I try, it will not accept my username and password. To be honest, I would not be alive today if it were not for Dr. Nowak, no lie!!!

I am extremely thankful I was referred to Lifstance. Dr. Knowak is intelligent and listens to what you have to say and asks questions regarding your mental health. I can’t say enough good things about my doctor. I appreciate him more than he knows. I recommend everyone who needs mental help whether it’s depression,addiction or anxiety. I highly recommend him.
