About Kadri (She/Her)

We all experience uncertainty, feeling stuck, self-judgment, and miscommunication. At the same time, we all have the capacity for joy, hope, compassion, and curiosity. Sometimes we need support making sense of the painful parts of our lives—and sometimes we need help reconnecting with the more hopeful, grounded parts of ourselves. Therapy can be a place for both.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon with over eight years of experience. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from California State University, Los Angeles in 2010. I have worked across a variety of settings, including mental health clinics (serving all ages), higher levels of care, and schools.

I help people heal from trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming life experiences so they can feel more grounded, connected, and in control of their lives. I specialize in working with PTSD, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), childhood and attachment trauma, dissociation, and anxiety-related challenges. I also have experience working with military veterans, children, teens, and older adults. I have a particular interest in supporting clients navigating difficult family relationships, early life trauma, and challenges related to health and the medical system. I also enjoy supporting clients in developing more intentional and attuned parenting approaches, as well as exploring re-parenting work.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore even the most difficult parts of your story—at your own pace. I also incorporate humor when it feels appropriate, because therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy.

My work is strongly informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which has become a central framework in my practice. I have completed Level 1 training through the Internal Family Systems Institute and also hold certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Additionally, I am trained in IFS-informed EMDR (Level 3), which integrates these approaches to support deeper, more cohesive healing.

As a parent of two teenage boys, I bring both professional and personal insight into the complexities of parenting. I also incorporate mindfulness and, when it resonates with clients, elements of spirituality, including principles from 12-step programs.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
