Lynn Gilderhus, LPC, LMFT, helps patients build resilience, restore connection, and find practical ways to move through anxiety, depression, and trauma so they can live with greater stability and purpose. At LifeStance Health in South Carolina, he provides Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Family Therapy for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, offering care that is both compassionate and grounded in evidence-based mental health treatment for the diverse communities he serves throughout the state. Lynn is especially passionate about working with trauma in all its forms, including military and combat trauma, relational trauma, childhood and developmental trauma, and school avoidance that grows out of overwhelming experiences. He brings deep clinical experience to helping people process painful memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and rebuild a sense of safety in themselves and in their relationships. This focus allows him to support lasting recovery for individuals and families impacted by PTSD and complex trauma. His primary specialties include Anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, and Couple’s Issues, with additional areas of focus available to meet a wide range of mental health needs. He works with select populations such as First Responders, Military/Veterans, and LGBTQ+ individuals, and offers a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Couples/Marital Counseling, along with additional therapeutic approaches when clinically appropriate. These interventions are tailored to help clients improve coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation. With more than two decades of clinical practice, Lynn brings a steady, thoughtful approach to therapy that supports meaningful change across the lifespan. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys spending time with family, reading, photography and travel.
