• Perfect. Great people. Good therapy is hard to find. I found it here. I come from a family that a team of horses bursting up through the ground from the fires of hell could not drag into a therapist’s office. No one comes out of that unscathed. It’s complex. • To me, I know therapy to be like a person who’s working on something, walking into a home improvement place because they need more material and information. • Life is like a maze, all that someone has been through creates a maze within the maze. My therapist is just what I need, -someone highly insightful who can see the bigger picture from outside looking in and enable deeper perspective which I can then see. • It’s sometimes deeply emotional in a painful way. It should be. It should be, because I see the scarred past as nuclear radiated waste. If it’s ignored due to lack of awareness of its capacity for damage, or due to shear denial, it remains potently active throughout one’s life. A lone person trying to bury it, cannot bury it deep enough; it will seep out and affect you all in negative ways. • Confronting your life through therapy instead of trying to bury what keeps coming back and affects every decision you’ll ever make whether you realize it or not, is the only viable course. • My point is, -my intent here, isn’t to simply praise my therapist, Annie. My intent has been to try to share some insight on the deeper level of thought amid the chaos in my mind and why therapy is so important to me, so crucial to me, and Then tell you that Annie has the capability to meet people at their own level. That is a gift which I believe is rare to find in anyone. Finding a therapist who can do that is harder still. • Annie helps me tremendously in my navigating a complex past and a complex present. • I have a degree in psychology (application oriented), and years rescuing people, also having been an on-site mental health crisis intervention specialist; -and I chose Annie. • Annie is the therapist who can walk me through my own storms. All that said, it is reality that burying yours won’t work, -and do not wait for horses. • Here’s to hope, -for all of us.

Annie is the best, knowledgeable, honest person/psychologist that I have ever had. So easy to talk to about no matter what the subject. Annie is willing to do the extra if that’s what it took to help whatever I might be going through. She is honest to a “T” & I’ve made a best friend. I believe that someone put us together for a good reason. Thank you, Annie!
