Julie Crowley, LCSW supports individuals in Tennessee by helping them heal from life’s challenges and reconnect with their inner strength. With a warm, solution-focused approach, Julie provides therapy that is both evidence-based and deeply compassionate. She works with teens and older adults, guiding them through anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and other emotional and behavioral difficulties. Whether the goal is emotional regulation, stronger relationships, or greater self-acceptance, Julie tailors each session to empower her clients toward meaningful growth. Julie specializes in treating trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and addiction. She draws on a wide range of clinical methods—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—to support clients in developing healthier coping strategies and fostering resilience. Her experience in both individual and group therapy settings allows her to help clients move through complex struggles, from grief and loss to major life transitions and persistent stressors. Julie is especially passionate about working with clients facing issues related to psychosis and schizophrenia. She approaches this work with an emphasis on dignity, collaboration, and hope—creating a therapeutic space where clients and their families feel heard, supported, and equipped to navigate daily challenges. She also brings clinical insight to medical conditions with psychological impact, helping clients better understand the mind-body connection and adjust to health-related changes. She serves a diverse range of clients, including those within the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and those connected to the adoption and foster care system. Her holistic approach also extends to couples and families, offering support for communication breakdowns and relational stress. Outside of her clinical work, Julie enjoys staying active through Pilates, hiking, mountain climbing, kayaking, and exploring nature. A self-described traveler with a “gypsy heart,” she’s grounded in positivity, spiritual energy, and the belief that healing is a collective journey.

Great experience. First visit today with Julie Crowley, Counselor. She was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, caring, supportive, compassionate, kind, easy to talk with about life. I was uneasy about and anxious about the intake process because it isn’t always easy to talk about past events and deal with all the emotions of it all. She made it much better because of her way of speaking in general. She is a very polite, positive, direct, and empathetic lady. Plus she has a cat so she has bonus points!! lol I love cats! Just kidding. Seriously though I highly recommend starting counseling with Julie if you have not already tried therapy or counseling before. Everyone has something they need counseling for but are usually just afraid of the stigma that comes from going to therapy or counseling. Mental health is something that you should always take seriously. You usually take care of your medical health, financial health, spiritual health, physical health, but when it comes to your mental health and emotional wellbeing you should make sure that you are doing everything possible to keep yourself healthy too. Everything needs balance and we all can use help. I realized that when I was in my 30s. I wish I had gotten help sooner because I could have saved myself and my family a lot of heartache. I highly recommend Julie Crowley, Counselor with LifeStance. Call or email them today and get the information and help you need. Praying that you feel better soon. Alisa

From start to finish, my booking experience was incredibly easy and seamless. The process was straightforward, stress-free, and very well organized, which made a significant difference for me during an already overwhelming time. Most importantly, my therapist Julie has been nothing short of phenomenal. She is professional, efficient, compassionate, and genuinely supportive. Just when I had almost given up on the mental health and therapy system altogether, Julie restored my faith in it, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She has truly been a guiding light ,like the light at the end of a dark tunnel. Julie consistently reminds me of my purpose and helps ground me when things feel chaotic. During one of the most hectic, traumatic, and emotionally challenging periods of my life, she has helped me navigate each step with clarity, patience, and care, and she continues to do so. I am deeply thankful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking meaningful, professional, and life-affirming therapeutic care! Thank you Julie and lifestance health , I wouldn’t still be here if it wasn’t for you !

I had some trouble getting started due to the scheduling coordinator. However, Julie was awesome! She reached out to me to make sure I didn’t need any help with logging in and getting connected with her. She was every patient with me and reassured me that we will get started in the right direction.

Julie was a perfect fit for me. I also liked that she said if we’re not a good fit I’ll help you find the right person. I felt like she heard me and also interjected at the right times as we got to know each other. I look forward to my next session with her!

Julie is incredible!! However, getting ahold of LifeStance themselves is ridiculous. I'm not going to suffer her rating because of an unprofessional company though
