Ashlie Hess helps teens and adults across Utah navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical insight, and a practical approach to lasting emotional wellness. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and mood-related difficulties. Ashlie creates a supportive space where clients feel understood while also gaining tools to make meaningful changes in their daily lives and relationships. Ashlie is especially passionate about helping clients manage ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma. She understands how overwhelming it can feel when racing thoughts, emotional distress, or unresolved trauma begin affecting work, relationships, and self-esteem. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and couples counseling, she works collaboratively with clients to build healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen communication patterns. She also has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals navigating women’s mental health concerns, grief, and life transitions. With experience practicing since 2013, Ashlie brings a calm, approachable presence to therapy while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique goals and experiences. She works with teens, young adults, and adults, helping clients address concerns related to bipolar disorder, couples issues, postpartum depression and anxiety, and family stressors. She believes therapy should feel both supportive and empowering, allowing clients to better understand themselves while developing practical strategies for growth and healing. Ashlie earned her education through the University of Phoenix and continues to focus on providing thoughtful, client-centered care through LifeStance Health. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys reading, crafting, watching movies, listening to music, attending concerts, and spending time playing with her dogs.
