Julie Gerber helps children, adults, and older adults throughout Utah navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for a wide range of concerns, helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Julie works with children, adults, and seniors, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. Julie is particularly passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief. She understands how overwhelming emotional distress can affect relationships, work, health, and overall quality of life. Her approach focuses on creating a supportive therapeutic environment where clients can process difficult experiences, develop healthier perspectives, and gain tools to manage life’s challenges with greater confidence. In addition to her work with anxiety, depression, and grief, Julie has experience helping individuals facing trauma, medical and health-related concerns, and women’s issues. She also works with members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals involved in adoption or foster care experiences, and those living with the effects of head injuries. Julie incorporates evidence-based interventions such as mindfulness practices, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and parenting skills training, while offering additional therapeutic approaches based on each client’s needs. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2011, Julie has remained committed to helping clients feel understood, empowered, and supported throughout their mental health journey. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and values building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, respect, and authenticity. Outside of her professional work, Julie enjoys traveling, spending time with family, learning new things, and reading. These interests help her maintain balance and bring curiosity and perspective to her work with clients.
