My therapeutic passion is: Being a tool to navigate difficulties associated with day to day stressors and past events. I also strive to create an environment of support and promote confidence for a happy and successful life. My experience is a combination of many things. I specialize in adolescents and young adults, having spent the last five years working with teens within the school system and addressing concerns that can negatively impact success in school. I have extensive experience with adults as well, working through marital issues, co-parenting, relationship difficulties, or any other life change that is thrown at you unexpectedly. I specialize in a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and emotional disturbances; however, this is your personal journey and no topic is off limits. I build lasting rapport quickly with my clients so that they can feel comfortable in the therapeutic space, with no fear of judgment. My passion is focusing on the person in session and giving them the tools to face their struggles head on. In session we will look into the problems together, uncover the root of the issues, and learn skills to minimize the severity of the impact it has on day to day life. The only thing constant in life is change. As a child who grew up in the military, I know that firsthand. Handling changes alone can be overwhelming.
