Carson Murray, Therapy Clinician

Carson Murray, CBT

Carson Murray, CBT, helps individuals across Minnesota navigate life’s challenges by creating a space for growth, self-discovery, and emotional healing. He works with adolescents and young adults, offering individual and group therapy that supports clients in addressing anxiety, depression, and school-related stress. Carson’s approach is grounded in evidence-based practices that prioritize each person’s unique strengths, values, and goals. Carson is especially passionate about supporting clients dealing with ADHD, substance use concerns, and insomnia or sleep-related difficulties. Whether it’s helping a teen manage the overwhelm of school and social pressures, or guiding a young adult through the challenges of attention, motivation, and recovery, Carson works collaboratively to build practical skills that promote long-term well-being. He integrates CBT for Insomnia, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients gain awareness of unhelpful patterns and move toward more meaningful, engaged living. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, Carson supports individuals in managing emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, and mood-related issues. He also incorporates family systems work when appropriate, recognizing the importance of relational dynamics in a client’s healing process. In addition to his core specialties, Carson treats a range of mental health concerns such as eating disorders, men’s issues, and school avoidance. Outside of his clinical work, Carson enjoys songwriting, playing guitar, discovering new music, and staying active through fitness. His creativity and personal passion for music often help him connect with clients in meaningful ways, especially those navigating identity and purpose.

Carson Murray provides services with supervision.
