Jordan Russo, LGSW
Specializes In:
Jordan Russo, LGSW, helps patients in Minnesota navigate life’s challenges with care, expertise, and a strong belief in each person’s ability to heal and grow. She works with children, teens, adults, and seniors, providing a safe and supportive space for individuals and families to address struggles with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Whether someone is facing challenges in relationships, navigating complex emotions, or working through the effects of trauma, Jordan’s goal is to empower her patients to build resilience and find meaningful ways forward. Jordan is especially passionate about supporting individuals who are recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals, navigating court-ordered treatment, managing parental custody issues, or in need of assistance with disability paperwork. She understands that these situations often carry unique stressors and uncertainties, and she brings both compassion and structured guidance to help patients stabilize, adapt, and move toward healthier functioning. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, as well as couples and family counseling when relationships are impacted. Jordan frequently works with specialized populations such as those in the adoption and foster care system, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She also has experience supporting first responders, veterans, and survivors of domestic violence and military trauma. Outside of her clinical work, Jordan enjoys cooking, riding horses and motorcycles, practicing mindfulness and yoga, and spending time outdoors with her kids. She believes that bringing balance, creativity, and movement into life is an important part of wellness, and she encourages her patients to find outlets that support their own sense of fulfillment.
Jordan Russo provides services with supervision.
