Eight week group for people struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, people easing back in to being around others.

Overview

  • 8 Week group for:
  • People struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, people easing back in to being around others.
  • People up for trying gentle mindful movement- chair yoga.
  • Folks who would like to experience multiple mindfulness exercises per session.
  • People okay with writing very briefly about their experience with mindfulness exercises and sharing a portion of this with the group.
  • People who have dabbled in yoga and especially people who have never done yoga are encouraged.
  • Clients from Oregon and Washington welcome.
  • Submit Healthwatcher referral to Group Coordinator: (DL- Group Ther Coor).

Facilitator

Rebecca Reiss, Therapist

Becca is a licensed mental health counselor in the states of Oregon & Washington. She holds a master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College and a BA from Grinnell College. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in community mental health, school, and hospital settings.

Becca’s approach to counseling is integrative. She uses elements of Psychodynamic, Internal family systems, Narrative, as well as CBT, DBT, ACT & Somatic therapies to help people identify unconscious forces and patterns and make them conscious.

Becca also enjoys exploring- especially outside.

The Mindful Movement is being offered via Virtual Online Sessions, and is not meeting in-person at this time. An Internet connected device will be required. Specific directions on accessing the sessions will be provided after your registration is completed.
