About Melissa Bell (She/Her)

Melissa Bell, PMHNP, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults build greater stability, improve daily functioning, and navigate mental health challenges with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management services for patients across South Carolina, working collaboratively to develop treatment plans tailored to each individual’s goals, symptoms, and life circumstances. Melissa supports patients facing a variety of concerns, with particular experience treating ADHD, anxiety, and depression, while also offering care for many additional mental health conditions. Melissa is passionate about helping people understand the connection between mental health, physical health, and overall well-being. She takes time to listen carefully to each patient’s story and believes that successful treatment begins with trust, open communication, and a personalized approach. Whether working with a child struggling in school, a teen managing emotional challenges, or an adult coping with life transitions, Melissa focuses on providing practical solutions and ongoing support to help patients make meaningful progress. She also works extensively with individuals experiencing alcohol and drug use issues, recognizing the unique challenges that substance use can create for individuals and families. Through thoughtful medication management and a nonjudgmental approach, Melissa helps patients pursue recovery while addressing co-occurring mental health concerns. Her experience includes supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds and communities, including those connected to adoption and foster care, members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and others seeking specialized psychiatric care. She remains committed to staying informed about current psychiatric treatments and best practices to deliver high-quality care. Outside of her clinical work, Melissa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, dining, exercising, reading, and watching movies.
