Angela Wood, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides diagnostic services and medication management for patients with mental health disorders. She graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing with a specialty in mental health in 1999. She has been practicing as a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2000. Angela has a wealth of knowledge and experience in treating individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders and other disorders of psychosis, substance use disorders and other addictions, trauma-related disorders, eating disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. She has worked in various settings, including hospitals, residential programs, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, community mental health, and private outpatient office settings. Angela currently treats children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. She is currently accepting new patients.

I'm writing this review after almost 2 years after receiving treatment from Angela. I came to her with crippling symptoms of anxiety that prohibited me from living my life. I had dropped over 20 lbs due to this. I felt like I was dying. I was a very tough case, so she actually took the time overnight to research and take the time to give me the RIGHT medication. I started it and it completely saved my life. I have been on over 10 psychiatric medications, and she was the first person to take the time to get it right. Thank you Angela. Your care was such a life changing experience for me.
