Kara Beasley, PMHNP-BC,
About Kara Beasley (She/Her)
Kara Beasley helps teens, adults, and older adults find clarity, stability, and hope while managing mental health challenges that affect daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, individualized care for patients throughout Tennessee, combining medication management and therapeutic support to help people move toward meaningful, lasting progress. Kara believes that effective mental health treatment begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Kara is particularly experienced in treating ADHD, anxiety, and depression, three concerns that can significantly impact work, school, family life, and self-confidence. She works collaboratively with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address symptoms while building practical skills for long-term emotional wellness. Her approach emphasizes creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and actively participating in their care. In addition to these areas of focus, Kara supports individuals navigating bipolar disorder, grief, trauma-related concerns, and a variety of other mental health conditions. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques to help patients strengthen coping skills, increase resilience, and improve emotional balance. She also offers support for additional mental health concerns and life transitions that may affect emotional health and quality of life. Kara is committed to providing patient-centered psychiatric care that respects each individual’s values, experiences, and treatment goals. Her educational background includes studies at Daytona State College and Walden University, where she developed the clinical foundation that supports her work today. Through thoughtful evaluation, ongoing collaboration, and evidence-based treatment, she strives to empower patients to make informed decisions about their mental health. Outside of her clinical practice, Kara enjoys traveling, hiking, and attending college football games. She values opportunities to explore new places, stay active, and connect with friends and family. These experiences help reinforce her appreciation for balance, personal growth, and the importance of maintaining overall well-being. Patients across Tennessee seeking support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns can partner with Kara Beasley through LifeStance Health. Whether someone is navigating a new challenge or seeking ongoing psychiatric care, Kara is dedicated to helping them take meaningful steps toward improved mental health.
