Dr. Zuckerman is a licensed psychologist in the state of New Hampshire. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a dual-major in Cognitive Studies and Sociology. She went on to earn her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical-Community Psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship at Drexel University Counseling Center in Philadelphia, PA, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at University of New Hampshire’s Psychological and Counseling Services. Dr. Zuckerman is trained as a generalist and uses a multicultural, integrative treatment approach with a heavy focus on collaboration and building strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. She draws from a number of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy, ACT, group therapy, family systems, and more. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of problems including mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, trauma, learning/attention problems, identity/multicultural concerns, emotion regulation, and issues with interpersonal relationships/communication, among others.
