Angela Harker helps children, teens, adults, and older adults across Oregon navigate life’s emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based care. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and case management services for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Angela creates a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Angela is especially passionate about helping individuals manage anxiety, PTSD and trauma, and childhood behavioral concerns. She works collaboratively with clients and families to build healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen resilience during difficult seasons of life. Her experience supporting children, adolescents, and teens allows her to tailor treatment approaches to each developmental stage while also helping parents better understand and support their children’s needs. Her therapeutic style combines warmth, humor, and clinical insight with evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Angela also incorporates mindfulness practices, parenting support, and faith-based counseling when aligned with a client’s goals and values. In addition to treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions, she also supports individuals coping with bipolar disorder, OCD, insomnia, women’s issues, and major life transitions. Angela has experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, first responders, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those impacted by foster care and adoption experiences. Outside of her clinical work, Angela enjoys spending time along the Oregon Coast, where the sound of the waves and the natural scenery help her recharge. She also loves rockhounding and enthusiastically “geeking out” about unique finds. Known for her playful sense of humor, Angela enjoys funny movie quotes and believes laughter can be an important part of healing and connection.
