About Katherine Bell (She/Her)

Katherine Bell helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Oregon navigate life’s challenges through compassionate, evidence-based therapy at LifeStance Health. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she provides individual therapy and couples therapy for those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Since beginning her practice in 2020, Katherine has been committed to creating a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. Katherine is particularly passionate about supporting individuals affected by domestic violence and intimate partner violence. She understands the profound emotional, psychological, and relational impact these experiences can have and works with clients to foster safety, healing, empowerment, and recovery. Her approach emphasizes helping individuals reconnect with their strengths, establish healthy boundaries, and rebuild a sense of confidence and self-worth. She recognizes that healing occurs at each person’s own pace and strives to provide a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and understanding. In her clinical work, Katherine frequently helps clients address anxiety, PTSD and trauma, and relationship concerns. She also supports couples seeking to strengthen communication and deepen connection. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), she tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Katherine has experience serving LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and military veterans, while also offering support for a range of additional mental health concerns. Katherine earned her degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her clinical philosophy centers on meeting clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and helping them develop practical tools to navigate both current challenges and future growth. Outside of her professional work, Katherine enjoys restoring and recharging through nature-based activities such as hiking, kayaking, swimming, camping, gardening, and yoga. She also enjoys reading across many genres, spending time with loved ones and animals, photography, puzzles, and thrifting. A passionate environmental advocate, she cares deeply about protecting the Earth and promoting the well-being of all living creatures.
