Misha Kleronomos, PsyD, LPC,
About Misha Kleronomos (She/Her)
Dr. Misha Kleronomos (Dr. K) has been a licensed therapist for 23 years and has worked in a variety of settings: from working with families and children and adolescents with behavioral and mental health disorders early in her career to adults in a hospital setting to private practice. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, and trauma and is specialty trained in treating the psychological aspects of pain and chronic health conditions utilizing a variety of techniques. She speaks around the country to medical practitioners on this topic. In addition, she has been an instructor at Oregon State University, teaching psychology to graduate and undergraduate students for the past 15 years. Dr. K is family oriented, a nature lover, and an active member of the Portland community with her husband. Skiing, travel, and the gym are joys and passions for her. She has two boys in college, one who is studying business at Oregon State and is on the leadership board for his fraternity, and one who runs cross country and track for Gonzaga and is studying kinesiology. Please be aware that if you’d like to see Dr. Kleronomos, she has a medical alert dog named Buddha who is a giant Saint Bernard Poodle mix. He is a relaxed, sweet, and a lovable guy, who in some ways acts like a therapy dog because of his calm presence.
