Alicia Munoz is wonderful. After seeings psychs on and off for a long time I got very used to everyone just going along with prescribing the same old meds even though I always felt like I wasn't ever getting enough from the medicine. Pretty much everyone acted like there weren't any other options, and they didn't have any interest in finding other solutions. During my first visit with Alicia she offered referring me for DNA testing to see if my body wasn't able to metabolize and get the benefits from all of the drugs I had been prescribed previously. She also shared info with me from new studies just starting in the US (but had been taking place in Europe for years) to treat some of the other symptoms that go along with my conditions. I had never heard of either of these options. It was very encouraging to get new ideas, and to realize she was actually listening when I was saying nothing was working well enough. It's obvious that she really loves what she does and genuinely cares about helping her clients, as well as going above and beyond to seek out new studies, alternative treatments, anything that might help. I feel supported and cared for in ways that I didn't realize were possible for me to find in a psych. Can't think of any criticism I have about my visits with her. And if something were to occur to me, I feel like she would always be open to hearing how she could help more.

Absolutely the BEST! MY Psycike Dr is the best. I really find her thotful, warmly engaging, listens and "really" hears. Questions are taken seriously-and answered. No one causes ME to feel " less than" and NEVER talked DOWN to! Reception is outstanding --patient, knoledgable but, willing to say "i dont know" then do the research to find an answer. Im really greatful for this team. I had seen another Dr.psychiatrist-- was rude-- insisted i answer his questions on scale1-10. as instructed. "Or you will be wasting my time". Also instructed me -- "DONT SHOW EMOTIONS". Im extremely blessed to have found THIS this team !! THANKYOU Chris

As a professional in the medical field, I felt as though I should not need help coping. So, I simply talked myself out of any kind of professional support. My best friend actually noticed changes in the way I reacted to even the smallest things( I started to quickly get angry and defensive over even the smallest things, which is not my norm). So, on their advice I made a televisit appointment with a Lifestance counselor. She is truly helping me sort out some problematic areas, and better understand how I personally perceive and deal with certain situations in a healthier way. My counselor is caring, supportive, and professional.

Finding quality help in Portland is not an easy task. Frequently, psychiatrists can be curt or rude on the phone, be disrespectful or dismissive —all of which can make it extremely hard for someone seeking medical care for a mental health crisis (or continuing medical management) to actually get an appointment. It’s really that hard. My appointment with LifeStance was exceptional. The medical professional took great care to take my medical history in a very thorough way and was respectful, empathetic and supportive. I would highly recommend this business!

I highly recommend Life Stance and their staff! Everyone has been friendly, warm and understanding. If you are going through transitions, hardship or need to simply talk to someone outside of your friends, family and colleagues, they will point you in the right direction. Sandy has been very professional, empathetic, kind and patient and I always feel safe and comfortable talking with her, I continue to and I am glad I was placed with her.

The booking experience was nice and easy. The couples counselor, Misha, is exceptional. Her ability to empathize with both of our points of view, her intuition about the issues at hand and the root causes and the tools she teaches to get through them have been a very rewarding experience. Highly recommend this place and that therapist.
