They need to know also that life can get better, and they are the ones who hold the power to make changes. Dr. Harbin has much experience to bring to the table to include the homeless population. Dr. Harbin was published in the Journal of Substance Abuse and Alcoholism, published a book on children’s grief “Sending Becky to Heaven” which can be found on Amazon and she was featured on the cover of Anderson Life Magazine in 2013. Outside of work, Dr. Harbin enjoys reading, sewing (giving back to the community through the Cinderella Project, Project Linus, holiday decorating (especially Halloween), cooking and baking, charity work; Project Linus, mentoring high school students, and working in her yard.
