Janell Garced, LPC,
About Janell Garced (She/Her)
Janell Garced, LPC, helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy. At LifeStance Health, she provides therapy for patients throughout South Carolina, supporting individuals, couples, and families who are seeking meaningful change and improved emotional well-being. Janell works with a wide range of concerns, with particular expertise in anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also offering support for additional mental health and life transition needs. A key focus of Janell’s work is helping Spanish-speaking clients access supportive, culturally responsive mental health care. She is passionate about creating an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. Whether someone is facing relationship challenges, navigating identity development, managing stress, or adjusting to major life changes, she works collaboratively to help clients build resilience and develop lasting coping skills. Janell also has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, first responders, and individuals connected to adoption or foster care. She understands that every person’s story is unique and tailors treatment to each client’s goals, strengths, and circumstances. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and couples or marital counseling techniques, while drawing from additional interventions when clinically appropriate. In her work with couples and families, Janell helps improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate periods of conflict or transition. She believes successful therapy is built on trust, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic partnership, allowing clients to gain insight, develop new skills, and move toward healthier and more fulfilling lives. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys spending time at the gym, reading, visiting comedy clubs, crafting, and connecting with family and friends.
