Specializes In:
Victoria Mamin, LISW-CP, is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of their lives by uncovering the barriers that stand between them and their ideal selves. Serving adults (18+) and seniors and in South Carolina, Victoria specializes in assisting individuals who feel “stuck,” empowering them to gradually grow into the person they were born to become. Victoria believes clients long to find a therapist to care about their unique journey, and she offers a non-judgmental, safe haven where clients feel known, understood, and empowered to move past current limitations; moreover, Victoria utilizes an eclectic approach that tailors to the unique needs and strengths of each client. Victoria provides both individual and group therapy, helping her clients explore and address the challenges they face. Victoria is particularly passionate about working with individuals experiencing later life transitions, those managing medical conditions or health-related psychological challenges, and individuals navigating midlife transitions. Victoria’s expertise in these areas allows her to support clients as they face significant life changes, whether they are adjusting to a new phase in life, managing chronic illness, or dealing with the psychological impacts of aging. Additionally, Victoria utilizes several evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), exposure therapy, trauma-informed therapy modality, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, as well as breath and body work, and intergenerational trauma informed care. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she helps clients develop practical strategies to cope with anxiety, depression, and other related concerns, leading to meaningful and lasting change. In addition to her specialties in later life and midlife transitions, Victoria also focuses on treating depression and anxiety. She understands how these conditions can deeply affect one’s daily life and works diligently with her clients to create a path forward that is both hopeful and achievable. Victoria’s approach is informed by a deep understanding of the challenges her clients face and a commitment to their well-being. Victoria’s goal is to empower every soul to access their inner wisdom that guides their journey to a place of peace. I believe in an eclectic approach that tailors to the unique needs and strengths of each client. Outside of her professional life, she finds joy in activities that make her feel more alive, such as yoga, spending time by the ocean, reading and writing fiction, cooking, and immersing herself in music.
