About Katherine Maulden (She/Her)
Helping teens, adults, and older adults across Tennessee navigate emotional challenges and life’s transitions, Katherine Maulden provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care tailored to each individual’s needs. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she creates a supportive space where patients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Katherine works with individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, while also supporting patients facing a variety of additional mental health and behavioral health challenges. Katherine is especially passionate about helping people who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or impacted by traumatic experiences. She understands that these struggles can affect relationships, school performance, work, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, she helps patients identify obstacles to wellness, build effective coping skills, and develop greater confidence in managing life’s difficulties. Her goal is to help patients move beyond symptom management and toward lasting emotional growth and resilience. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. Katherine also supports individuals dealing with ADHD, grief and loss, and other emotional and behavioral concerns. When appropriate, she incorporates faith-based treatment into care for patients who wish to include their spiritual beliefs as part of the healing process. She offers additional support for a range of mental health conditions and life challenges. Katherine values building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, respect, and authenticity. She believes that every person’s story is unique and that effective therapy begins with understanding each patient’s strengths, experiences, and goals. Through individualized treatment planning and ongoing support, she helps patients develop practical strategies that can improve day-to-day functioning and overall quality of life. She earned her degrees from Western Kentucky University and Northern Kentucky University, where she developed the clinical foundation that continues to guide her work today. Outside of her professional role, Katherine enjoys spending time with her dogs and making meaningful memories with friends and family. These connections reinforce the importance of support systems, balance, and personal well-being, values she brings into her work with patients. Individuals and families throughout Tennessee seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, and other mental health concerns can find caring, personalized support with Katherine Maulden at LifeStance Health.
