Carol uses a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to empower clients to deal with whatever they are facing, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, substance abuse, life changes, grief, loss, or executive skills deficits. Carol has a passion for seeing clients grow in self-awareness and understanding as they collaboratively set goals to practice managing thoughts, feelings, and reactions for life improvement. Primary modalities utilized include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Mindfulness. Also included in sessions is education about what is happening in the brain during distress and how to change reactions to desired, healthy responses.

In her spare time, Carol enjoys time with her dogs and in her garden. She is passionate about local mission work that she coordinates and spending time at her church. Her most enjoyable times are spent with her college aged daughter when she is home or she gets to go visit her at school.
