About Kristin Cuzzourt (She/Her)
Kristin Cuzzourt, LPC-MHSP, is a Licensed Professional Counselor & Certified EMDR Therapist. She believes all humans have inner strengths and abilities, but sometimes life causes us to lose belief in ourselves or to hide our true selves in order to feel safe. This can show up as anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed or burnt out, & feeling lost or stuck.
Kristin works with adults living with anxiety and depression, those who suspect or are late-diagnosed with ADHD &/or autism, and trauma, especially as these issues present in women. She guides clients to learn new skills and rediscover or awaken their inner strengths and abilities. While Kristin utilizes evidence-based techniques from a variety of approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and goals, she most often approaches therapy through humanistic & EMDR perspectives.
In her free time, Kristin enjoys reading, listening to music, time with friends, walking, and The Society for Creative Anachronism: a world-wide, 501c3, educational organization that focuses on studying and recreating all aspects of life prior to 1600 BCE.
